Survey Form

In December 2022 the Steering Committee sent out a survey to residents within the proposed Community Improvement District.  

Officially this is called an Urban Management Survey.  The draft survey was designed by the Steering Committee and a final version was approved by the City of Cape Town after suggested amendments had been incorporated.

The survey was conducted by email with a choice of completing the survey online or in hard copy. The circulation list included property owners as provided by the City of Cape Town and the Newlands Residents Association database.

As of 12/01/23,  331 responses had been received, of which 323 were from property owners.  This exceeded the minimum requirement of 311 responses as per CID application regulations.
