• Directors, the CID Manager, and CID Staff Members are required to sign a POPIA Declaration provided by the CID Branch upon their receipt of personal information. This declaration affirms their commitment to handling personal data responsibly and lawfully.

• Service Providers engaged by the Newlands CID who are granted access to personal information are also required to sign a POPIA Declaration, available from the CID Branch. This ensures that all service providers adhere to the same standards of data protection.

The Newlands CID takes reasonable and appropriate measures to secure personal information against loss, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include physical, administrative, and technical safeguards.
